Registered Massage Therapy (RMT)

Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) is a hands-on healthcare profession focused on assessing and treating the muscles, joints, and other soft tissues. At Sprout, our RMTs use a variety of techniques to help reduce pain and stiffness, improve mobility, and support your body's overall recovery.

While massage therapy is often associated with relaxation, Registered Massage Therapy can also be an effective treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns. At Sprout Integrated Care, our RMTs take the time to understand what's bothering you, how it's affecting your day-to-day life, and what you want to get out of treatment. Your treatment is tailored to you rather than following a one-size-fits-all routine.

What can an RMT help with?

  • Neck and shoulder tension

  • Back pain and muscle tightness

  • Headaches and tension-related discomfort

  • Sports and exercise-related injuries

  • Repetitive strain and overuse injuries

  • Joint and muscle stiffness

  • Postural tension

  • General muscle soreness and tension

People seek massage therapy for all kinds of reasons - from persistent muscle tension and everyday aches, to injury recovery or a particularly demanding workout. It can also be a useful part of maintaining your physical well-being, particularly if your work, sport, or daily activities place repetitive demands on your body.
